Top ways to figure out you're dating a douche bag

Whether its your bf, your besties bf, your mama's or aunts we have all been there. But in case you don't know the signs of a douche bag lets throw out some;

1. He beats on you- Hell no, you better break up with his butt fast. No one deserves to be abused. You deserve better than that. Don't let anyone make you feel different. Their problem not yours. If you can't get away or defend yourself call over a big strong friend. Men who beat on women tend to not want to fight a guy. Or better yet call the police. Let him room with Bubba for a while.
2. He's emotionally abusive- Whether its physical or verbal, abuse is abuse. Again you deserve better. All kinds of abuse leave scars. Its better to ditch the turd while you can. Don't let him change you. You are wonderful and beautiful just the way you are.
3. He never puts you first- His friend Billy Bob see's him more than you. He rather play with the boys than be with his girl. Big red flag! There's nothing wrong with hanging out with the guys but he should want to spend time with you more. Your not meant to be a second fiddle.
4. So you and your guy go to the movies and you're waiting for the movie to start. He goes to the bathroom and he's gone a while. So you text him to see if he's okay. He's great, he got bored so he's watching a movie in another theatre while you wait alone for his jack wagon butt. Dump him, leave him, he's sooooo not worth your time. This Casanova wanna be needs more classes.
5. He flirts with other girls in front of you-Okay what is this? What possesses someone to do this? Do they think they are God's gift to the female population? Does he really expect you to stand there while he chats it up with to much lip stick Barbie over there. And what about her? She see's you standing there. Okay not all women. Most will see him for what he is. But come on now if you see a guy with his girl and he's flirting with you, shut him down. If he were yours he would do the same to you. But hopefully his girl will do that for you.
6. He NEVER pays the bill-I'm not saying men always have to pay. As a woman I think its nice to treat your man sometimes. Especially if they work hard and they treat you right. Show your gratitude. But if Mr. Mama's Boy never wants to foot the bill then he needs to be sent back home because that's not right. Chivalry is NOT dead.
7. He says who you can be friends with- Unless the people you're hanging with are criminals who can hurt you or they are using you I say be friends with who you want. Don't let someone put you in a box. You have to be free to live and to choose for yourself. Otherwise its lonely. His insecurities should not be yours.
8. He wants to control you- I realize 7 and 8 are similar but if wants to control your life in general. Like what you eat, when you should leave the house, if you shouldn't leave the house or he doesn't want you to talk to your family. You may be together but you are no ones property. Even if your a little kinky and that's another topic all together but still you still have say over your life. Don't give that say away.  

We can't change these men. I think as women we try to make things better and when things fail we blame ourselves. But they have to be the ones to change. Only they can. If not it leads us down roads we don't need to be. A good man should take care of his woman and his family. A good man should put her first and show the world the prize he has. We deserve nothing less ladies.
